Energy Company Operations and Maintenance Buildings
- PDR Service Design + Architecture
- Industry Sector Energy
- Office Houston
PDR served as lead architect for a new 148,000-square-foot Operations and Maintenance Building in Corpus Christi, Texas, for a Confidential Energy Company, partnering with Energy Architecture to deliver a facility that reflects the scale and importance of the people who support one of the region’s major energy facilities.
The project was designed to build pride in the organization while helping attract and retain top talent. Just as importantly, it brings teams together in a more connected and efficient work environment. A large training room provides a dedicated setting for learning and development, while a generous employee lounge creates a comfortable place to recharge and connect, extending outdoors to take advantage of the South Texas setting.

The building also supports the highly technical work happening beyond the office. A large maintenance area accommodates vehicles and specialized equipment serving the nearby liquefaction plant. By bringing workplace, training and operational functions together, the facility creates a stronger connection between people and purpose while supporting the work that keeps a complex energy operation moving.
