What you’ll be doing:

As a workplace strategy consultant at PDR, you will work in our fast-paced, highly collaborative workplace consulting and design firm. You will be a strategic advisor to our clients and stakeholders by helping them align their people, processes and place with their strategic business objectives and organizational goals. You will guide clients through consulting engagements including leadership and culture assessments, workplace programming, performance data collection and evaluation, and vision session facilitation. You will have a critical role in translating findings into an actionable business and/or design strategy for our clients.

Once selected to join our team, you will:

  • Lead a team in client engagements and actively execute project deliverables.
  • Improve and expand workplace strategy programming tools.
  • Mobilize project teams, assess the client’s current state, and conduct workplace behavior research studies.
  • Identify how workspaces influence human behavior and identify potential barriers to performance in the workplace.
  • Develop materials for client engagements, such as vision session engagements, leadership, and alignment workshops.
  • Deliver workshops, reports, and presentations to client business leaders, key stakeholders, and senior leadership that identify how their vision impacts their people, processes, and place.
  • Make recommendations and develop scenarios based on real estate portfolio analysis.
  • Make recommendations and educate clients on leading-edge approaches to workplace.
  • Translate the business strategy to the physical environment for design teams.
  • Actively read and source thought leadership to understand leading-edge approaches to workplace. Research industry knowledge, benchmarks, and best practices in workplace strategy and design.
  • Participate in business development, support marketing content efforts for proposals, and participate in project interviews as needed.
  • Establish and manage client expectations while maintaining a positive, proactive, and professional demeanor.

 

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Business or Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Psychology, or related field.
  • 3-7 years of experience; experience in Workplace Strategy, Interior Design, and/or User Experience.
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Ability to work harmoniously in a collaborative project team environment.
  • Superb communication and organizational skills with high attention to detail in your work are essential to success in this role.
  • Experience in programming, scenario planning, documentation and infographics, communication, and change management.
  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative data analysis and synthesis.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to deliver and communicate a topic or idea with ease to large groups.
  • Excellent active listening skills.
