What you’ll be doing:

As a Regional Design Director, you will work in our fast-paced, highly collaborative workplace design firm in our growing Dallas office. From day 1, you will dive right in and be able to work in all aspects of design – programming, space planning, material selections/specifications, architectural detailing, construction documents, furniture selection/specification, and construction administration.

Once selected to join our team, you will:

  • Provide overall strategic leadership to the regional project teams, promoting positive employee relations and enhancing PDR Corporate culture.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor teams through the schematic design and design development phases of your projects.
  • Engage the client in programming and workplace design analysis to identify the key issues and business objectives for your project.
  • Work with the team to establish the major design concepts and image that meets the client’s objectives.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager and/or Project Architect to identify the design scope, budget, and schedule.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture.
  • Licensed Interior Designer.
  • 10+ years of experience in interior design.
  • AutoCAD & Revit proficiency is required.
  • Experience designing for the human experience in corporate, hospitality, healthcare, brand, or higher education.
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills are essential.
