What you’ll be doing:

As a Real Estate & Occupancy Planning Consultant, you will be working in our fast-paced, highly collaborative workplace consulting and design firm. In this strategic role, you will manage and coordinate complex real estate planning projects, including Master, Portfolio, and Occupancy Planning. You will lead our planning projects to guide our clients and PDR teams through the strategy, planning, and implementation phases. Your responsibilities in the role will include strategic planning, scenario development, data collections, and reporting. You will also be the liaison and expected to communicate strategies through effective client communications, meeting coordination, and documentation delivery.


Once selected to join our team, you will:

  • Act as a strategic advisor to clients, bringing them data-driven options for consideration and guiding them through the decision-making process.
  • Oversee the daily project management of multiple real estate planning projects at client facilities.
  • Lead a team of consultants and designers in the delivery of project work.
  • Perform preliminary site planning analysis, programming, and planning research.
  • Collect and manage relevant client and site data as part of the scenario planning and programming effort.
  • Develop long-term real estate strategies and guidelines aligned with the client’s objectives, including phased implementation plans.
  • Prepare strategic stack and block plans to reflect group space allocations within buildings or floors.
  • Prepare strategic block plan diagrams to reflect new building allocation on a site.
  • Develop move sequencing plan to schedule move days and develop a move plan.
  • Facilitate meetings with team and client contacts.
  • Prepare presentations and written content for print and electronic media.
  • Responsible for keeping all phases of the project on schedule.
  • Establish and manage client expectations while maintaining a positive, proactive, and professional demeanor.


Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Real-Estate development, planning, Business, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in a similar role or facilities management.
  • Must be familiar with architectural drawings and space planning concepts.
  • Familiarity with furniture systems is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail are essential.
  • Strong customer service skills and a self-starter.
  • Must work well within a team-based environment.
  • Must be proficient in Excel.
  • Proficiency in Access database is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Tableau is a plus.
  • SQL experience is a plus.
  • REVIT experience is a plus but not required.
