What you’ll be doing:

As a Lead Change Management Consultant at PDR, you will work in our fast-paced, highly collaborative workplace consulting and design firm. You will focus on the people side of change, including changes to organizational design, including office environments and business processes that will directly affect an organization’s human experiences and overall performance of their people. You will work with a team of consultants to create and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize our client’s adoption and usage while offering solutions and strategies to minimize their organization’s resistance to adopting behavioral changes critical to the project’s success.

As our Lead Change Management Consultant, you will develop the change management strategy and plan for large projects requiring significant behavior change and lead the execution of that plan. You will be responsible for leading, developing, and sharing your expertise with other change management consultants and project team members by managing and advising on best practices. You will also take the lead on projects by developing and overseeing the execution of engagement strategies and plans for our client’s stakeholders involved and crucial to the success of each project.

Once selected to join our team, you will:

  • Engage Executive Leadership to gain alignment and endorsement of a significant change effort and partner with them to fulfill their role as a change sponsor.
  • Assess and analyze change impact on culture, leadership, and stakeholders.
  • Coach and guide people leaders across organizations.
  • Develop stakeholder engagement strategies and plans, and successfully lead the engagement of stakeholders throughout the change process.
  • Lead a team of multiple change management professionals in the implementation of a change management effort.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of multiple projects and clients.
  • Establish strong client relationships and position yourself as a trusted advisor to our Client and internal project teams.
  • Develop compelling and persuasive change communications.
  • Work with project teams to successfully design and facilitate multiple workshops for varying levels of within an organization.
  • Identify how workspaces influence human behavior in the office environment.
  • Create change management strategies and implementation plans and incorporate integrated change management activities into the overall project plan.
  • Identify anticipated resistance to change and develop resistance management plans.
  • Develop innovative communication strategies using both traditional and digital media platforms.
  • Develop communication plans for execution on projects., including identifying and creating the communication messaging required for various project phases.
  • Support multiple teams and projects in reviewing and collaborating on designing, developing, reviewing, and editing of communication materials.


Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business, Psychology or related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience; experience in Change Management required.
  • Proven ability and experience leading and coaching team members to execute change management plans for multiple projects at once successfully.
  • A professional demeanor with a servant leadership approach.
  • Proven success in becoming a trusted advisor on change management projects.
  • An understanding of how people go through a change and the change process; experience with Prosci ADKAR Model.
  • Experience using change management principles, methodologies, and tools, to develop and implement large change projects requiring significant behavior changes.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to coach and develop other team members to execute and facilitate successful workshops on all Change Management projects.
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Ability to work harmoniously in a collaborative project team environment.
  • Superb communication and organizational skills with high attention to detail in your work are essential to success in this role.
  • Exceptional communication skills- both written and verbal.
  • Excellent active listening skills.
  • Candidates located in Texas preferred.
