Develop, Implement and support network, servers and cloud services.

Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problems, and determines and implements solutions.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide technical software, hardware and network problem resolution to all computer users by performing question/problem diagnosis and guiding users through step-by step solutions.

  • Maintains/supports operating & computer systems.

  • Clearly communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner.

  • Performs system maintenance tasks, such as back-up, recovery, & file maintenance.

  • Troubleshoot network printer problems.

  • Monitors & maintains software licensing & maintenance agreements.

  • Conduct hardware and software inventory database maintenance and reporting.

  • Schedules, installs & tests system software upgrades.

  • Be able to collaborate with IT team for solutions and mentor Junior IT employees.

  • Will require after-hours and weekend work as needed.

  • Excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.

  • Ability to learn new systems with limited help from peers.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have a minimum of 6 years’ experience and the following skill set.

  •  Microsoft Active Directory (Provisioning, Group Policies, Etc.)

  • Desktop Virtualization

  • Application Virtualization

  • VMware

  • Horizon

  • Networking

  • Cisco Telephony

  • Desktop Management and Ticket Management

  • Powershell scripting

  • Vendor software (ex: MS Office, Antivirus, Adobe, AutoCAD, etc.)

  • Office 365

  • Azure admin

  • User configuration and setup

  • Carbon Black admin
