PDR has been named a Top Workplace by the Houston Chronicle! This marks the 8th year that PDR has been honored as a Top Workplace, but this year’s title is special, because we are also one of the most improved Top Workplaces.
PDR is especially proud of this award because it is entirely employee driven. According to the Houston Chronicle, anonymous feedback is collected and assessed. Contributing data includes how their employees responded to key survey statements that measured things such as inter-departmental cooperation, availability of formal training, whether they feel like their ideas are encouraged, and how their benefits stack up.
“Our workplace could not hum without the dedication and hard work of our employees. We are so grateful to our exceptional people who influence our workplace culture and affect how we perform as a business. As workplace consultants, designers and architects, we work with clients to transform their organization from the inside out. So we know that this award is a special honor since we have to lead by example,” says Kelley Hendrickson, Associate Principal, HR and Operations.
PDR received three media mentions as an honoree, a repeat winner, and the most improved positivity score. Out of 140 submissions within the small company category (50-149 employees) the Chronicle reported in “The push to get better” PDR made a huge jump, placing 23rd this year from 49th last year. In the article, “I love my job because”, an anonymous quote from a PDR employee answers with, “The people I work with and the clients we impact.”
