Located at 909 Fannin Street
The Human Resources Intern will assist the HR Department with day to day administrative duties. Help in maintaining employee information, personnel records and HRIS records.
Helps to coordinate company recruiting efforts including job postings, scheduling interviews and applicant tracking.
Coordinate and maintain employee development program by setting up training classes and tracking employee strengths and development requests.
Coordinate background checks and drug screens and client security badge requests.
Coordinate and implement team building events.
Assist with new hire orientation and benefits orientation on boarding.
Track and maintain the employee allowance/fringe benefit program.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology or related program
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment in an open office
Self starter with strong verbal and written communication skills
Must demonstrate strong initiative and be able to maintain confidentiality
Dependable and detail oriented
Knowledge of HRIS a plus
Excel, Word and outlook skills a plus
Experience working in an architectural firm a plus
