What you’ll be doing:

As a change management consultant at PDR, you will work in our fast-paced, highly collaborative workplace consulting and design firm. You will focus on the people side of change, including changes to organizational design, including office environments and business processes that will directly affect an organization’s human experiences and overall performance of their people.  You will work with a project team on creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize our client’s adoption and usage, while offering solutions and strategies to minimize their organization’s resistance to adoption of behavioral changes critical to the project’s success. As a Change Management Consultant, you will support the development, execution and success measurement of change management plans for large projects requiring significant behavior change.

Once selected to join our team, you will:

  • Identify how workspaces influence human behavior in the office environment.
  • Create change management strategies and implementation plans.
  • Identify anticipated resistance to change and develop resistance management plans.
  • Develop and facilitate leadership workshops and employee training.
  • Train and coach client change agents.
  • Integrate change management activities into the overall project plan.
  • Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities.
  • Develop innovative communication strategies using both traditional and digital media platforms.
  • Develop communication plans for execution on projects., including identifying and creating the communication messaging required for various phases of a project.
  • Prepare presentations and written content for print and electronic media.
  • Incorporate visual elements into all aspects of work.
  • Support a project in designing, developing, reviewing, and editing of communication materials.
  • Facilitate meetings with team and client contacts.
  • Establish and manage client expectations while maintaining a positive, proactive, and professional demeanor.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Psychology, Business, or related field.
  • 3-5 years’ experience; experience in Change Management preferred.
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Ability to work harmoniously in a collaborative project team environment.
  • Superb communication and organizational skills with high attention to detail in your work are essential to success in this role.
  • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process; experience with Prosci ADKAR Model is a plus.
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to deliver and communicate a topic or idea with ease to large groups.
  • Exceptional communication skills- both written and verbal.
  • Excellent active listening skills.
