WHAT YOU'll BE DOING:
The Project Manager is a great communicator with an eye for detail who will use these skills to deliver exceptional client projects on time and on budget. The Project Manager will have the overall project responsibility for client satisfaction, quality control and financial performance, as well as, coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects. As a Project Manager at PDR, you should be able to manage multiple irons-in-the-fire, stay on top of project deadlines, maintain open lines of communication with project members and provide timely updates to clients.
Once selected to join our team, you will:
- Collaborate with service leads (Design, Architecture, Brand and Consulting) to establish and communicate clear and effective project workplans and attainable project objectives.
- Manage all phases of interior design/architecture/brand/consulting projects, from project set-up through construction administration.
- Provide leadership to client and team by communicating project objectives, contract scope, terms, and schedule.
- Manage scheduling, budgets, resource staffing, project set-up, subconsultants, vendors and contractors.
- Prepare fee proposals, work authorizations, negotiate contracts and fees and coordinate the bidding process.
- Prepare and manage workplans, change orders and invoice proposals.
- Review and approve project related time and expenses.
- Track and manage the financial performance of projects in Microsoft Dynamics to ensure profitability targets are met and project is within budget.
- Ensure that projects conform to signed work authorizations and contract.
- Effectively facilitate communication to ensure that all stakeholders are always informed of project status.
- Will collaborate regularly with Studio Principals, Directors, Project Accountants, and multi-disciplinary teams.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 10+ years of experience in all phases of interior architecture, brand and/or consulting projects
- 10+ years of experience in Project Management, preferably with a focus in interiors.
- Architecture, Interior Design license or PMP strongly preferred.
- Proven fiscal accountability and responsibility on various project types
- Highly organized and responsive.
- Experience leading multiple project teams, mentoring, and coaching.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be highly organized and able to multi-task
