PDR - A Finalist for the Society of British International Design Award

PDR is a Finalist for our work on Solvay, in the category of Office Design through the Society of British International Design (SBID) Awards!

The public is now invited to cast their votes for their favorite project here, as their votes will be counted toward the overall results. The closing date for the public voting will be on Friday, August 25, 2017.

Solvay, an international chemicals group serving diversified global markets, partnered with us to design 50,000 square feet of efficient and modern workspace. The project business driver was to foster collaborative culture and empower connectivity between newly co-located employees across two floors. The result was a space that celebrates the company’s 150-year history with displays of significant company photography, branding partnerships and Solvay’s chemical roots.

Our design utilizes the layout to maximize employee access to daylight and views, as well as connectivity and collaboration ability. Integrated use of color theory, texture, and scale communicate Solvay’s progressive company image and stimulate productivity, inspiration and excitement in employees.

Solvay’s new workplace reflects the design sensibility of the company’s European heritage and creates an atmosphere that embodies the forward focus of the company culture, expertise and people.

Winners will be announced and awarded with the crystal SBID International Design Awards 2017 trophy at the official ceremony, held at The Dorchester hotel London on Friday, October 27, 2017.
