What started out as a passion project, has now landed Houston's HeadQuarters a finalist spot in the prestigious category of Development of Distinction from the Urban Land Institute (ULI). The award recognizes developments which exemplify best practices in design, construction, economic viability, marketing, management and community health.
After visiting a variety of creative office operations in Colorado, brother and sister developer duo (Peter and Devin Licata) decided that there was room to pioneer a new style of workspace – similar to new corporate campuses but for small businesses – in the Houston market. From that vision, Headquarters in Houston's bustling East End District, was born.
PDR worked with TPC Real Estate, to design Headquarters specifically for small to medium businesses in the East Downtown (EaDo) Houston market. PDR designers were tasked with the goal to design a collaborative office environment that would not only attract businesses, seeking short-term leases, but create a fun energy that aligned with the client's cultural values.
