Houston welcomes San Francisco-based Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe as the latest tenant to sign a lease, for two high-rise floors at 609 Main, Houston's newest downtown office tower and law firm hot spot.
PDR is excited to design Orrick’s new workplace in Hines’ high performance office tower. Orrick, who is currently in temporary space in the Fulbright Tower, was looking for a permanent space. The global law firm plans to continue expanding its fast growing Houston presence serving the Energy & Infrastructure, Technology and Finance sectors.
"We are looking forward to working with Orrick, a firm already well known as an innovator, to define their new workplace, here in Houston," said Wayne Braun of PDR. To remain competitive, law firms must be proactive and recognize the external market drivers and modify their internal operational models. We are seeing law firms make changes to their work environment, not only in Houston, but across the nation. The law firms that are choosing to respond to change will be well positioned for future success. The business of law is changing.
