The continued and rapid evolution of office space is going far beyond the comfy couch and healthy snacks. When it comes to environmental graphic design, PDR visual communications group designer Nate Preg says clients are requesting their corporate story be told right in the space itself, reinforcing their brand within the workplace environment. Nate gives a good example of a recent client who wanted a visitor center for customers, clients and investors, to give them an “experience” beyond typical wall graphics. Within that space, Nate designed a context for where the company was in the world: four kiosks with dynamic graphics featuring services the company offers, and a 40-foot-long wall featuring a world map with call-outs highlighting their global impact. It's the story the client wants to tell; PDR works within existing brands, or creates new ones.
