PDR has named Robert Olvera AIA, LEED AP as an Associate Principal. Since joining PDR in 2004, he has worked on a number of the firm’s largest and most challenging projects from design development and documentation through to construction administration, positioning him as one of the company’s most sought-after Project Managers. His work for industry leading corporations, including ExxonMobil, Chevron, Imperial Oil, Statoil and Eaton Corporation, has won him the trust and confidence of his clients, his team and the leadership of PDR.
“Robert’s talent as leader can be seen in the success of his project teams,” said Lauri Goodman Lampson, PDR Principal + President. “He’s able to take personal accountability and empower the people whom he works with, including our in-house teams, contractors and clients who all appreciate his attitude and approach. He helps everyone succeed.”
Throughout his tenure at PDR, Robert has continually pursued the challenge of new roles. “I was fortunate to join PDR when we were just 40 people, and I have had the chance to learn many aspects of the business as we’ve grown,” said Robert. “Now we are 150 strong and I am still excited about the opportunities to learn and grow everyday. It is an exciting time for PDR.” He also believes that the PDR culture is an important part of the success of the firm. Robert uses his personal warmth and enthusiasm to involve his colleagues in extracurricular activities outside of work, such as PDR’s softball team.
Robert graduated from University of Houston, where he earned a Bachelor of Architecture with a minor in Construction Management. He is a Licensed Architect in the State of Texas and LEED Accredited Professional with active membership in the AIA, Texas Society of Architects, Urban Land Institute and CoreNet.
