Dave Woodard Principal Emeritus
“Going from a great, front-end idea to a great environment – that process is my passion."
Dave Woodard is an award-winning Project Architect whose emphasis on back-end process focuses on construction techniques, processes, production issues and construction documents.
During his 30-plus year career, Dave has provided pre-construction feasibility assessments of major, large-scale U.S. projects for Cooper Cameron, Coastal Corporation, ConocoPhillips and Mitchell Energy, among others. He also participated in the transformation of ExxonMobil’s Business Support Centers in Prague, Budapest and Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
Dave’s insight into construction techniques has led to his standing as one of the industry’s premier Project Architects. Moreover, his background allows him to consider the “build-ability” of a project, a detailed, pre-construction evaluation which leads to fewer contractor change orders and greater cost efficiencies. As Principal Emeritus, he is a valuable asset to PDR as a mentor to project architects.
Dave earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Idaho. He is a Registered Architect in the State of Texas and holds memberships in the American Institute of Architects and the Construction Specifications Institute.
